Couples Therapy in Peterborough
Reconnect, rebuild trust, and grow together

What Is Couples Therapy?
Every relationship goes through hard seasons. Conversations might keep turning into arguments, trust may have been broken, or you've simply drifted apart and aren't sure how to find your way back.
Couples and family therapy strengthens communication, rebuilds trust, and fosters understanding. We work on conflict resolution, attachment, and navigating life transitions such as parenthood or changing family dynamics, helping you reconnect and express emotions with empathy. The focus is on creating a supportive, respectful relationship where you both feel heard, valued, and emotionally connected.
This is a non judgemental space where you can both be authentically yourselves. Sessions are available online and in person in Peterborough.

Reaching out takes courage, especially as a couple. Whether you're navigating conflict or simply want to grow closer, we're here to support you both, wherever you're starting from.

My Approach
I have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, and I'm a Registered Psychotherapist and professional Art Therapist, supervised by Dr. Pati Beaudoin, Registered Psychologist. I work through a trauma-informed lens, with training in Neurographica, Internal Family Systems (IFS), ADHD Therapy, and EMDR, working with both the conscious and subconscious so you can connect thoughts, sensations, and emotions to make meaning. With couples, this means drawing on Gestalt-informed and IFS approaches alongside creative practices, shaped around your relationship rather than a one-size-fits-all model.
What It Can Help With
Couples therapy can support a wide range of experiences, including:
Communication breakdowns and conflict
Rebuilding trust and betrayal
Attachment issues
Feeling disconnected
Parenthood and family dynamics
Intimacy concerns
Financial decision-making conflicts
Major life transitions
What to Expect
There's no such thing as a typical session. Each one is flexible and shaped around what you both need. We usually begin with a time of checking in, talking about what's been happening and what you'd like to explore, then use conversation and, when it's helpful, creative practices to continue that exploration together.
